She can go where most other shoal draft boats can't. She is in very nice condition and ready for sailing. She has beautiful lines, this unique vessel turns heads wherever she goes.... (read more) A quick online search will confirm what a rare find she is.This Herreshoff is the classic Meadowlark from L. Francis Herreshoff. She was constructed with foam-cored molded fiberglass. The core was hand laid up in lateral 12" strips. Fore and aft of each strip, fiberglass webs tie her inner and outer skins together, providing high strength and stiffness. The decks, trunk, and cockpit are constructed the same with wedges on 9" centers. The hull is over 1 inch thick. The lee boards have internal lead ballast. Hull sides are painted with Awlgrip. The vents and deck hardware are bronze.The cabin is comfortable with a foldable table, updated upholstery in the salon, 2 settees, Koolatron 12V refrigeration, an alcohol stove, a composting head, and plenty of storage.This versatile yacht is truly a gem!This listing is new to market.
