Begin with the fact that this Southwind is a beautifully crafted boat from the factory. (read more) Even the underside of the cushions are finished and the hidden storage spaces all have the same gel coat finish as the exterior of the boat - and they all drain.The layout is extremely family friendly with a large enclosed pump-out head, a freshwater sink, and a porthole. The cockpit has a huge transom L-shaped couch that easily converts to a full-length double-wide sun pad. This entire structure lifts up to provide wide-open access to the batteries (2), the fuel filter and the bilge pump.The helm is smartly laid out with a large (7 in) Garmin GPSmap 741xs GPS/Chart Plotter/Sonar mid console, and gauges and accessory switches are conveniently accessible. There are comfortable pedestal seats with flip-up bolsters for both the pilot and the passenger. There are two mammoth in-deck storage boxes, again both completely finished. All interior finishes and upholstery are in good condition with no holes, tears, or seam separations. There are, however, some light mildew stains from being undercover. It appears those will clean up.

The exterior is in good condition with no dings, gouges, or dock rash noted. The dark blue sections do show some oxidation and are probably due for a good buff/wax.

If you are looking for a great boating platform for making tons of fun-filled family memories, this is the boat for you. You won't find many of these out there.
