This boat has been restored and is ready to hit the water. It is located in Hickory Corners, Michigan, with convenient access to major highways.Chris Crafts are double-planked on the bottom so the first layer used was 1088 marine plywood, as per Don Dandenbergs method.... (read more) The outer layer is a Philippine Mahogany cut, leaving a gap between planks to allow the swelling of wet wood. Between layers, a coat of 3M 5200 adhesive is applied, filling those gaps.
