With a 4.3L Mercruiser engine, the Starstep 221 has the power to easily tow two skiers. The turning radius is also better than most deck boats allowing you to quickly make the turn when needed. The extended swim platform is huge, extending the length overall to more than 25 feet, providing the room you need for water sports activities. The 4-step ladder provides safe access to the swim platform. A stern pass-through door allows access to the in-floor ski locker.This Starcraft Starstep 221 has many desirable features that you usually do not find on a deck boat. The "Family Fun Seat" at the stern converts from a sundeck, to a lounge, to a double-wide rear-facing seat. The seating throughout is comfortable and has high backs for support. Also included are stainless steel pull-up cleats and a stainless steel rub rail.This deck boat will easily hit 40 MPH and cruise efficiently at 30 MPH. The large 44-gallon fuel tank means you won't be refilling the tank often. The angled, molded instrument panel has a full set of gauges to keep the driver informed about all aspects of the operation of the boat and engine, including a depth meter. The upholstery and deck are in great shape. It could use a good buffing and detailing to bring it back to top condition.

The bimini and boat cover are serviceable and will need to be replaced or reconditioned at some point.

The propellor has a few dings and nicks. The owner will replace it or offer an allowance for a new prop.
