This Hatteras 43 Convertible is 46' 5" of fishing platform and is available for sale in North Florida!A true Hatteras Convertible, this yacht is set up for cruising and fishing. The 14' 3" beam makes an expansive aft deck with rod holders and coaming pads surrounding.... (read more) A baitwell is plumbed in on the starboard side and fish boxes are built into the deck. This boat has an icebox and storage for tackle and gear on the forward side of the deck. Captain and crew can stretch out on the flybridge. Along with two Captain's chairs, the bride holds two wide upholstered bench seats with room for everyone onboard. The helm is set up with two VHF radios, an autopilot, and a massive Garmin multi-function display connected to radar and a bottom transducer that scans thousands of feet below. The crow's nest is a true tuna tower with coaming pads, helm controls, and an amazing view.In the cabin are two staterooms, a comfortable salon, and a full galley with a refrigerator, freezer, stove, and sink. A 50" TV is mounted above the lower galley with an excellent view from the salon lounge. The lounge is a large wrap-around sofa with storage underneath the cushions and in the ottoman as well. The main stateroom has door privacy and a center-line queen size berth. The second stateroom holds two bunks and storage for personal items. To the port side is a former laundry room that has been converted to a tackle storage closet. The laundry hookups are still plumbed in behind the peg boards in the closet. The ship's head is accessed through two doors, one in the main stateroom and the other in the hallway. The head uses a waste tank and also can be switched to overboard discharge. The large 154 gallon freshwater tank supplies the sink and the stand-up shower in the head. The Hatteras is powered by twin Detroit Diesel 6V-92TA diesel engines with a total of 1070 HP. This one has not been chartered. Decks and gel coat appeared in good shape with an occasional nick or scratch from fishing. The step-on point on the port side gunnel is showing wear from normal boarding.

The exterior fittings and hatches were generally in good shape. The latches and hinges on this boat are substantial and holding up well. Stainless steel rod holders and rails looked great.

The upholstery on the flybridge was in very nice condition. The coaming pads on the aft deck are showing some wear, a familiar feature of an active fishing vessel.

The owners added a Phasor 10.5 KW generator in 2021. It has 48 running hours. Both air conditioning units are working and cool the cabin nicely. Electronics are in working order except for the screen on the autopilot. The autopilot functions normally otherwise.

The icebox on the aft deck has lost its refrigeration and is used for storage currently.

The boat is used regularly and the bottom is cleaned monthly. The hull will need bottom paint soon.

Windows and headliners are dry.

The owners have binders full of owner's manuals and the original construction documentation for the boat.
